Kofta Curry - this is our most popular Northern Indian Curry dish. The recipe has soft vegetarian koftas in an aromatic and tasty tomato curry.They are traditionally served with any flatbread, French bagette or with rice. A side dish of yogurt raita and a side salad of Kuchumber accompany this dish.
Serving Suggestions for Entertaining - This Kofta Curry is made in th Mughlai Style of Cooking. The Mughals who ruled India for almost 300 years, loved eating and entertaining, and vegetarian koftas dishes such as this is the result of the Muslim and Indian cultures mingling together. This dish like all Mughlai food is excellent for entertaining.
Combine 2 packages to serve 6 when serving with other dishes. Combine 3 packages to serve 6 for larger servings. Serve with side dishes of steamed vegetables, roasted golden potatoes and raita (raita recipe given below) and chutneys, flat breads and rice pilaf.
