The olives used in all of organic products have been hand harvested at the peak of maturity. They are cold washed and hand selected for size and most appropriate use. All of those conditions qualify Olives as Certified Organic, which is (IFOAM & USDA/NOP approved) and is in compliance with EEC Regulation 2092/91 "Organic Production of Agricultural Products" It is important to know that Organic production of All Natural & Organic Olives also means agricultural practices that are sustainable and more in tune with the fragile condition of this planet of ours. Furthermore, all of the organic olives we represent are grown and processed in an exclusively organic farm so they never came near chemicals or pesticides like some so- called "organic olives" that are grown in the vicinity of and processed in the same facility as conventionally grown olives and other food products. | |||
