Soy based cheese starts with a soy mixture to which are added flavors and ingredients to give a taste and texture like the dairy counterparts. Great for sandwiches, melts, and crackers and has that mild Cheddar taste that goes well with apples, pears, onions, tomatoes, parmesan, red wines like Zinfandel or Merlot, pale ales, hard ciders, and stout beers.
